Miniature models are not toys, but an art form
The first GMHS Shanghai (International) Miniature Art Model Expo was held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center from March 11th to 12th, 2023. The theme of this expo was "Beyond Craftsmanship, Forever Exploring the Unknown", which included several major activities such as the Great Craftsman Hall, Enterprise Forum, Craftsman Star Classroom, and Club Training Stalls, brought together high-quality miniature art models from home and abroad. The most worth seeing was the "Great Craftsman Hall" that gathered numerous domestic and foreign models, including handmade prototypes, science fiction models, military and civilian models. Among them, there were many well-known overseas producers and their works that have been exhibited for the first time in China.
According to reports, as the first exhibition in China based on miniature model art, the first GMHS was guided by the Professional Committee of Miniature Art of the China Arts and Crafts Society, and hosted by DJI Collection Co., Ltd.
